Fall Family Gathering

Our NICS school is unique because it is one of 3 in the same country. Not only that, but SoKo was the country of origin for the original NICS school. We have schools in at least 15 countries but rarely are there more than one.
All that to explain that we went to Seoul on Friday for an event called "Fall Family Gathering." It wasn't necessarily a family oriented event as much as a NICS-family event. The teachers participated in professional development and the the older kids went to Lotte World (a local indoor amusement park). The spouses, moms of little kids and the littles just got to spend time getting to know each other.

It wasn't what I thought it might be but I did get to meet and reconnect with 2 wonderful women that I look forward to meeting again. Both of these women were at our stateside training 2 summers ago. It's kind of funny that we went through training together to come to the same country but we only see each other at NICS-family events! I hope to change that by the end of the school year!

Here are some pictures from our day.

  1. I think Jason is singing "The Wheels on the Bus Go Round and Round."

  2. I was going to guess "Livin La Vida Loca", but then I remembered that this was a NICS event....

Gail... love the new site! I might just steal a few of your NICS pics since we didn't take any that day. Great post!
