Happy New Year 2012
Well, Happy New Year world!
I took quite a break from blogging over the holiday season and enjoyed my time with Jason and Isaac all at home! It was a blast but now I really want to blog about everything. (I'll probably put up several retro-dated posts to tell the truth!)
I'm just writing now to ask you what your New Year's Resolution is? Do you have one? Or have you given up on saying you want to complete something only to give up on it weeks later? I usually scowl at resolutions on New Year because of the later but this year I was challenged by what I was reading. So instead of a resolution or a goal to achieve, I just want to remind myself to recognize sin in my life. That's it. I mean, it's a pretty big thing, but it's gotta be done. Recognizing the sin in my life is the only way I'll be able to address it, change it and diminish it. I'm not striving for perfection (and I ask for your forgiveness in advance when I completely miss the mark!!!) but I have to start somewhere.
What will you strive for this year?

My New Year resolution would be to point out other people's sin. Not mine! JK.
ReplyDeleteSimilar to your philosophy above, I am working on relaxing more, being tranquil and casting my cares to God instead of trying to figure out my cares on my own. And praying more!
Love you,
Momma
You are living up to your New Year's philosophy. Your February conflog shows you are right on target with recognizing sin in your life. High Five!
