8 months
Dec 8th, 2011 marks Isaac's 8th month of spreading intense joy!
So much has changed this month!!!!!!
So much has changed this month!!!!!!
- Isaac began crawling in all fashions (scooting, sitting on leg crawl, short distance and long!)
- He walks around the room by holding on to any object
- He recognizes his name very well
- He entertains himself with his new found confidence in moving
- Isaac got his first pair of shoes
- He zooms everywhere in his walker
- Isaac has moved to 2 meals a day with a finger food snack sometimes
- He is able to turn pages in books one by one
- He loves all his teething toys
- He tries to stand on/crawl over EVERYTHING
- Isaac reaches for most things that he wants (most of them he is allowed to have)
- He also learned to reach down and pick up things that he drops while standing
- He has started eating lots of new foods
- He has moved to a 2 nap day (instead of 3)
- He is ecstatic when Daddy returns home from work
- He's also gotten quite jumpy recently, being bothered by noises that he didn't notice before
- Isaac thinks everything is fun, funny, and a game--including being told no-no, hiding cords, and crawling over people's faces
- Isaac experienced his first Thanksgiving and and beginning of busy season
- He helps with all sorts of crafting projects, wrapping gifts and sorting donations
- He still loves bath time and gets excited by just hearing the water filling the tub
- He always tries to pull the plug to drain the water in the tub-it's probably his favorite thing to do
- He thinks it's hysterical when Mommy or Daddy put his pacifier in their mouth, giggles about it and pulls it away.
- Isaac seems to recogize when he does a new thing-or something new to him-and claps or cheers for himself
- He tries standing by himself and has stood for about 30 seconds alone
- He has stayed in the nursery a few times now with people he likes (and no Mommy or Daddy)
- And of course he babbles away with all sorts of cute noises and clicks
Our new favorite (or shall I say most used) phrase in the house has been "How'd you get over there?"
The is so fun and such an adventure! I love every day more and more!
pictures coming ;)
So exciting!
