Hangin' with the Lees!
I'm sure you saw my post about Bobae's birthday (if not, check it out--Korean 1st birthday, party hall style!) If so, you read how Karen and Charles are sweet friends of our from our first years in Korea. They now live in Canada and visited for one month to see Charles' family here in Korea. That's a mouthful!
We got to spend a few treasured days with Karen, Charles and Bobae. I was beyond excited to see Karen again. Finally! We got to hug and let our babies meet! Isaac and Bobae are about 7 weeks apart in age and both are very independent individuals! I love having opportunities for him to play with other babies his age--it's just so cute to see them communicate! Karen and I got to catch up a lot and just talk about the joys and woes of mommyhood. I loved being together, every second of it! I don't have anything profound to add or comment on-I just simply loved being together.
We also got to hang out as a group with the Lees and Trammells. We haven't all been together since 2010 and it felt like old times. I've missed such wonderful company! But, as all good things come to an end, so did this trip and our limited time together. My year of goodbyes continues--even though I knew it was a short visit, it was still a goodbye. I love you guys! I already can't wait to see you again. But we'll always have Facebook ;)
