You have HOW many basketballs?
Jason has been busy rounding out the end of the school year lately. I've been lonely, so I found lots of excuses to be at ICS and help out wherever I could! THIS is the best excuse I had and it turned out to actually be quite fun, entertaining, AND helpful!
Some might wonder, "What exactly does a PE teacher have to do to keep busy at the end of the year? Don't they just play games all the time?" Well, I have an answer for you. (I have a few actually!)
- My husband is not just the PE teacher; he's also a superhero. So while the classrooms are full of students, he's out saving the world!
- Actually he really does a lot in our school, not the least of which is his other job as Athletic Director.
- Cleaning the gym and equipment at the end of the year (so that it is stored properly and not found moldy in August) is important not only for the students but to also take care of our school property. THIS is the task Isaac and I helped with the most (we leave that whole superhero business for the professionals!)

Do you know how much stuff is in that storage closet?!?!?!?!
The PE storage closet had to be cleaned just so we could get to the house storage that was crammed in behind it! (We have 9 new teachers arriving this fall! Have you heard? God is so great and clearly not through with Pyeongtaek yet!) We threw everything out of the closet and started sorting. Wow. How many basketballs does our school really need? Okay, let's spread the love folks ;) teehee! Then came my specialty: creating great storage and organization out of thin air! SO SATISFYING!
Now wait, we did have fun too! I mean, sure, there were thirty kabillion balls and things for Iz to play with but we had to teach him how to use some of them. Turns out he's a golf pro! We even made a goal for his golf balls out of spare boxes (on their sides) and he impressed us with his slap shot!
