Children's Grand Park
If you've been in Seoul with kids, you may know about this wonderful free place to take your kiddos. Children's Grand Park! Let me repeat myself when I say it's FREE. 100%, absolutely free!
Children's Grand Park is exactly what it sounds like. It's a huge park dedicated to the love and fun of children. There are tons and tons of spaces to take a picnic or just enjoy the outside. There is a zoo (recently remodeled and expanded). They have camel rides. There is a big water fountain that splashes outside it's area enough to allow kiddos to get wet safely. Sometimes there are concerts and musical performances. There's an expansive botanical garden. There is a huge playground. There is ice cream and foods and balloons and toys and bubble blowers....and so much more that we haven't even explored! This place is grand! Hey, did I mention it's all FREE!?!
(Children's Grand Park also has a small amusement park attached but there's a small admission fee to it.)
In our continued celebration of Jason's freedom from coaching, we had planned a picnic in Seoul at CGP with our K-family (read bestest friends in Korea whom we've missed so much during busy soccer season). Turns out we only got to spend half of the day together instead of a whole day because I was called to morph into a Mighty Birthin' Doula Ranger. But the time we did spend together was great and wonderful and relaxing. I'm so grateful for the times we get to spend together!
To get to Children's Grand Park, take subway line 7 to the Children's Grand Park exit and you'll come out at the entrance to the park! So easy and FREE!

Isaac was adorable looking at the zoo animals for the first time. He was very curious but watched them with restraint ;) |
