Easter Egg Scramble
Although Isaac's 1st birthday was on Easter, it was his second Easter! We had his party on Saturday and then went to an Easter Egg 'hunt' at Lucy's apartment. I have since dubbed it an Easter Egg Scramble because 2 little one year olds don't hunt for eggs. The adults throw plastic eggs on the ground and the kids scramble to maybe pick them up! ;)
This was a really fun way to enjoy our afternoon. The grass is not green here at Easter because it's still cold. It was a warm day that week and we're still in winter jackets! The eggs were full of healthy snacks like cheddar bunnies, grapes and nuts. The kids each had a basket but they also helped each other by putting eggs in each other's basket. We just had the eggs out on one small grassy spot in the park and it was a lot of fun for the little guys. I think next year we'll have some egg-sperts!
