Daddy Day!
Soccer season is in the spring here and that means we've been missing Jason more than usual. He's coaching both boys and girls teams this year which is just very draining. He loves coaching but it's a big time commitment. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be but he was still gone a LOT. There were several days that he was gone before Iz woke up and after Iz went to sleep. Balancing school and coaching is hard but also family, church and friends is very demanding.
But we made it through the season and decided to celebrate with Daddy Day!
After 2 full days of soccer tournament in Seoul, Jason took a personal day to be with us. Only us! It was great! We went to City Hall Park to explore and found a beauuuutiful park, huge running areas, hiking trails and just a gorgeous day. We decided to also do something "manly" and use the grill. Jason grilled from us and Isaac cleaned the roof with the broom (his favorite thing to do!)
It was really a treat for me to have him home and a treat for all of us to be spending quality time as a family together.

Isaac seemed very happy to have his Daddy hang out time too.
