Int'l Week 2012

Ta-da, I'm cute!
Mrs. Okamoto, do you know what's going on here?
At PICS we have International Week to celebrate the cultures represented in our school. Every year the 6th grade performs a play in Korean (in place of chapel) and the kids dress in hanboks and taekwondo outfits. I went on the day of the play so we could dress Isaac in his hanbok again ;)

Lower Elementary students who wore hanboks and gis :)

The other days were focused on different countries represented in our school and Jason (who does morning announcements) read facts about the countries on those days. The lunch menu was representative of different countries and there was a buffet on one day of Int'l food. (And, I think the parents tried to organize an Int'l Fair to teach students more about the countries, but it was cancelled at the last minute.)
