Pororo Park Adventure
There is a happening new kids cafe/park in Metapolis of Dongtan. If you aren't hip to the scene, 1) Dongtan is the City of Dreams and 2) a kids' cafe is an indoor playground of fun. This one happens to be an indoor playgroup of super fun on steroids! AND it's Pororo Themed!
I have been saving this kids' park for my parents' visit and today was our day to go. The price is a little steep because there is a charge for each child and adult, but kids under 13 months are free. Luckily, when we showed up today they told us that all of April is free for the adults!!!! Wow! That was three free tickets right away. Unfortunately, they assumed Isaac was older than just turning 12 months and charged us his free to get in. Cest le vie! The price of his one admission was less than the price we saved for all three adults so we won't dwell on it. (But if you go, make sure you tell them at the gate!)
Take a look for yourself--there is a ton to do! And this is just the stuff that babies were interested in. They have a 3-D dance show, a song show, picture times, korean snack foods, a bouncy boat, and these neat tunnels that twist and tangle through the walls! There's a ton for the older kids to do and there are a lot of staff to help with the kids when you need it.
Isaac adored the reading room but I was eager to move on. He loved the slides and walking everywhere! Hint: It's best to take your socks off to avoid slips! |
"I. HATE. THIS. ARMBAND!" True story, he was constantly trying to take it off. |
Socks off make it easier to go up the ramp! Pororo sing-a-longs are always on TV! |
Ball pit! Watch out for that shark ;) |
Inside Pororo's house. |
Oh no! A polar bear is chasing you Isaac!!!! |
The penguin flying the airplane is Pororo. He's a very popular cartoon over here! |
Pororo Park WAS awesome. Very unique and cool. Speaking of cool, I never knew until you just mentioned it, that Pororo was a penguin. And I'm not JK. Seriously he does not look like a penguin to me but the decore of the Park should have been my first clue. Ice and snow. Hmm. Go figure! But it was fun!!!
