Prayer Walk for Songtan

Way back in the fall of 2011, my brother visited Korea and we had a blast! Of all the great sites we visited, one beautiful hidden temple stands out in my mind. As I walked around the grounds of that temple, I heard worshippers of Buddha chanting praises and petitions to a figure who wasn't their creator. I saw men and women walk by leaves of golden yellow and fire red without knowing the true God who gave them these beauties. I saw an opportunity to begin really praying for the people of Korea.

I didn't want to hold it all to myself and began dreaming of all the places I could go with my prayer warrior friends and begin praying over our land. Finally, our first prayer walk was today, on America's National Day of Prayer!

Some of the families that showed up to pray at different areas on the grounds.
Yes, I spied on them :)
To start locally, we prayer over the grounds of Songtan Int'l Community Center. We prayer for our city, church, community, people and armed forces. I really had a great time walking around in the evening with my family praying and reading scripture. I can't wait to do this again!

Our beautiful city from the top of the hill.
Thanks for praying over our city!
