Thirty Already?
A long time ago....say about 30 years?...a precious little princess was born. She was soft and pink and squishy and perfect! Her mommy and daddy loved her and raised her well. Then she became me!!!!!
Haha, all joking aside, it really is my 30th birthday and I don't know quite how this happened. I don't feel much different but I do think things like, "Wow, 30 is half way to 60!" Thirty is on the older end of our circle of friends here (although that's shifting too!) I didn't want a huge bang for my birthday and it turned out absolutely perfect!
First, Jason planned a nice breakfast with our neighbors, the Housers. We love enjoying crepes in their kitchen :) Steve really needs to teach Jason how to do this!
Then, we spent the day together as a family just hanging out at the park and taking naps. It was really nice that the school decided that my birthday was a holiday this year! (hehe, in reality May 5th is a Korean holiday, but since it was on Saturday this year, they gave the kids May 4th off also.)
Then Jason sent me on my own to meet Ferial....who put me in a car, blindfolded me and got lost in Pyeongtaek. Okay we didn't get lost but we ended up at Jester's with a group of my girl friends! Surprise!!!! Yumm-o, Jester's is an australian pie cafe. We then had dessert at Pink Cake cupcake cafe and ended the evening with noribang! It was perfect! I had so much fun just being out with the girls, celebrating life and birthdays!
Thanks for a perfect day everyone!

The bottom right is one of my favorite pictures of our little introvert. Everyone was together, eating and talking. He was in the corner, happily alone! |
